Bio: Arda Ozansoy, who received his PhD in International Relations from Bilkent University in 2023, will discuss practical aspects of international relations by drawing from his dissertation (“Negotiating Development among Unequals: Turkey and the European Economic Community, 1960-1980”). In this presentation, which is particularly suited to advanced undergraduates and master’s students with an interest in the intersection of their academic studies and public policy, the emphasis will be on how international relations is conducted practically. Arda Ozansoy completed his PhD while working full-time in the public policy sphere in Ankara. He also holds a BA from Koç University and an MsC in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
